How Long Does a Typical Auto Window Tint Take?
The turnaround time varies based on the number of windows you are getting tinted. A house or commercial building can take more time and will be estimated by the project.
A typical car tinting job with 2 to 4 windows can take 45 minutes to 2 hours. It also depends on the expertise of your technician and how precise the window cuts are to ensure a perfect fit.

How Long Does the Window Tint Last?
The lifespan of a window tint is directly related to the quality of the film type. For example, leading quality window tints should last for up to 10 years. Many of these higher quality tints like the ones from LLumar, which we provide at Quality Window Tinting, come with a lifetime warranty covering bubbling and more.
What’s the Best Window Tint Percentage?
To help make the right decision on which shade is right for you, identify what your main goals are for getting a window tint.
The shade range of window tints can range between 5% and 90%. The percentage references the amount of VLT (visible light transmission) that can come through the windows.
For maximum auto privacy, 5% is the darkest tint you can get. In other words, you can’t see through 5% tinted car windows at all. In most states, a 5% tint is illegal, so it’s important to know what the current laws are for the state in which you live. It’s most commonly used on the back windows of private cars and limousines. For reference, factory tints are usually between 15% and 20%.
A 50% shade can block out about half of the light coming in and can be a great option to block out heat, some glare and UV rays in your car.

What Should You Look For in a Window Tinting Company?
Before you choose a professional window tinting company, you should consider factors such as the number of years in business, experienced and trained technicians, previous work completed, and customer service. Quality Window Tinting recommends paying close attention to the quality of a company’s work and their Google reviews, as they should be some of the main determining factors.
What Are the Benefits of Using a Window Tinting Company?
There are people who explore the DIY route as an option, but the results can often turn out to be disappointing. For example, DIY window tinting can result in bubbling, lack of precision fitting, and an absence of warranties that safeguard your investment.
Some of the benefits of hiring professional window tinting services include a combination of receiving high-quality, professional installation, saving time and money, plus getting expert advice on how to maintain your window tint.
